I am trying to repair a friends laptop that is refusing to cooperate. She is getting the blue screen on boot-up, Stop 0x24 error. I know what caused it, I know how to repair it, the problem I am having is how the heck do I bypass the blue screen??? If I get the screen with the boot up options, before I can type any commands, the blue screen pops up. If I try to boot in safe mode, the blue screen pops up. I can't even run a scan disk without that blue screen popping up and I can't do anything while it is there. Does anyone know how to get rid of the blue screen so I can fix this thing? That blue screen even tells me what to do to repair the errors, but it doesn't tell how to get out of it in order to perform them! Help, please, somebody?????

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. It looks like the charges will stick in a bizarre case of Vaseline vandalism in Binghamton, New York.

A Virginia man is accused of covering virtually every surface in a motel room with petroleum jelly.

A grand jury today indicted Robert Chamberlain on a charge of felony criminal mischief in connection with last spring's incident.

He was arrested after a cleaning crew discovered the T-V set, furniture, carpeting and everything else in Chamberlain's motel room had been slathered with petroleum jelly.

Police say when they tracked him down at a nearby motel, Chamberlain was covered from head-to-toe with the stuff.

A manager at the Motel Six says it took more than a month to clean up the mess.

Memphis is just making more and more national news:

August 3, 2004
Memphis, TN - Mid-south leaders are trying to take the sting out of a city hall snub. Seven Iraqi delegates on a U-S visit were turned away from Memphis City Hall Monday. City councilman Joe Brown said it was because the group didn't give proper notice they were coming. Wednesday, Shelby county Mayor A C Wharton tried to make things right. "We've spent a good portion of the day to console hurt feelings." Memphis Mayor Willie Herenton issued a letter of apology to the delegates, and council members are drafting a similar one. The slight caught national attention and made headlines.
The seven Iraqi civic and community leaders are in the midst of a three-week American tour, sponsored by the State Department to learn more about the process of government. The trip also includes stops in Washington, Los Angeles and Chicago. The Iraqis were scheduled to meet with a city council member, but Joe Brown, the council chair, said he feared the group was dangerous. "We don't know exactly what's going on. Who knows about the delegation, and has the FBI been informed?" Brown said. "We must secure and protect all the employees in that building." Elisabeth Silverman, the group's host and head of the Memphis Council for International Visitors, said Brown told her he would "evacuate the building and bring in the bomb squads" if the group entered. "They are in charge of setting up processes in their country. They have to educate themselves about how it works in this country," Silverman said.

Memphis, TN - Memphis police report that two members of a visiting Iraqi Delegation are robbed as they stroll down a city street. The victims, Mr. Rwad Fanary and Ms. Liza Hido of the visiting Iraqi delegation were walking on Main Street when the suspect approached the couple, snatching the purse of Liza Hido, and pulling a gun on Rwad Fanary. The suspect demanded the wallet of Rwad Fanary, but he did not have one. Rwad Fanary motioned to an oncoming vehicle for assistance, and the suspect then fled on foot toward Front Street.
The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of US money, travelers checks, and a camera. There were no witnesses, no suspect description, and no suspects in custody at this time. The investigation into this incident continues.

I would like to create a career series of windowblinds. Any career suggestions? I''''ve already done the firefighter and paramedic ones. I would also love to have someone volunteer to do matching icon packages since I can''t make icons.
